Creating the Enriched Care SIL Houses
Each of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses have been lovingly and professionally designed and built by a team headed up by parents of participants who have additional needs. This is our unique difference! From selecting the location in Launceston, to the building materials, to the interior design, to the general functionality, our experienced design and build team knows exactly what it’s like to search for a suitable home for you or a loved one with NDIS funding.
Enriched Care Solutions now proudly has eight Supported Independent Living Launceston homes, with another being built while this blog is being written!
What does an Enriched Care SIL House Include?

Our SIL House Teams
Ok, so our Supported Independent Living houses have been built, but our services don’t stop with just a physical house to live in. All our Supported Independent Living homes have teams of experienced, passionate disability support workers, ready to support you or your loved one.
Your SIL team is extensively trained in each specific house and its unique support systems. For example; use of the hoist, using the wheelchair friendly bathrooms, ramp usage, meal preparation, transport vehicle parking… they can do it all!
The Supported Independent Living team truly make the house feel like home, portraying our values; Encourage Dreams, Build Connections, Create Solutions. They work with each participant to understand the individual needs and interests. Whether it’s playing board games, tending to the garden, getting out of the house into Launceston, whatever! The team makes sure the participant is empowered to use their SIL home to meet their needs.
